When the mIoTa successfully connects to a wireless access point it will store the network name (SSID) and the network key (Pass-phrase) in an encrypted file on the SD-Card. This is known as the WiFi Profile. The WiFi Profile will then be used every time the mIoTa attempts to connect to this wireless network.
If the Wifi O/S variables specify a different wireless network, then the profile will not be used and will be over-written by the new network if a successful connection is made.
Note: For security reasons, the WiFi profile on the SD-Card is encrypted and can only be read by the mIoTa unit that created it, no other mIoTa will be able to use this file. If the Parameters File is used to set the WiFi connections SSID and Pass-phrase, these settings can be removed from the file once a successful connection has been made and the Wifi profile has been written to the SD-Card by the mIoTa. This allow the Wifi connection details to be kept secret.
